Join me on November 15 for a book signing and treat tasting.
I’ll be back at Williams Sonoma in Lincoln Park this month signing both of my cookbooks—A Gift of Cookies and My Life in Pies—and sharing some of my favorite fall treats. I’m making oatmeal cookie sandwiches with pecans and Williams Sonoma’s incredible pumpkin butter. Cookies will be served alongside my Mexican Spicy Hot Chocolate, made extra special with Williams Sonoma’s famous peppermint bark. As always, 100% of proceeds will benefit the Hephzibah Children’s Association and the OPRF Infant Welfare Society. Thank you so much, Williams Sonoma, for having me back! See you there!
November is one of my favorite months in the kitchen!
Some of my favorite fall ingredients are making appearances this month: blue cheese, maple syrup, fresh herbs, and apple cider. Whether you’re looking for a nice weeknight dinner idea or a holiday showstopper, these recipes have you covered!

Hi, I'm Mary DiSomma.
I’ve been baking since I was a little girl. In fact, my Italian-American grandmother, mother, and aunts taught me everything I know. They were my "cooking school." In the kitchens of the women in my family, I inherited the tips and tricks of the generations. I continue cooking and baking their recipes to this day. In fact, I still make over 7,000 cookies every year just to give away to family and friends during the holidays!
